Valentine’s Day: Games Adult Play

Whether you are boo’d up for Valentine’s day or happily single, treat Valentine’s day like “friendsgiving.” Invite your friends over and get to know each other. Enter Goliath Games. Goliath is the parent company of Pressman Toy Company that brought us Rummikub, Mastermind, and Shark Bite. Goliath has a new division dedicated to games for adults aptly titled, Games Adult Play. For your Valentine’s “friendsgiving,” I suggest Sip It and Friend or Faux.

Games Adults Play – Sip It

Sip It is like a truth or dare (mainly dare) meets shots. If you chose not to do as instructed on your card, then you must sip the amount of points of the card value. The dare can be innocuous or risqué from “read the last text message you sent (that’s more than one word) out loud” to “remove an article of clothing” or “cut a piece of your own clothing” to “find an image of a nipple online and post #freethenipple to your Facebook or Twitter and claim its yours (leave the post up for the rest of the game).” Might I suggest ride share for friends because it might be a boozy night depending on how audacious your friends are. If you are looking for a drink to sip, try KOVAL‘s Cranberry Gin Convo.

KOVAL Cranberry Gin Convo

KOVAL Cranberry Convo
2 oz KOVAL Cranberry Gin Liqueur
1 oz KOVAL Dry Gin
1 oz lemon juice
2 dashes orange bitters

Shake ingredients together with ice and strain into a chilled martini glass. Serve garnished with a twist of lemon (or express yourself with a floating bouquet!)

Games Adults Play – Friend or Faux

Games Adult Play – Friend or Faux

Friend or Faux is about how well you know your friends. What secrets have they hidden? It is a naughty and entertaining way to hang out with friends – no frenemies! Cards range from, “what is my guilty pleasure” to “if I had to spend the night with one of my exes, who would I choose” or “do I fart in front of my significant other?” If you believe the person is not being truthful, you can throw down the Bullsh!t card. There is a Skip Option, if you are uncomfortable with the questions. Watch out for the Prove It card. It’s a fun way to relive or reveal memories with friends.
